We've Got Spirit, Yes We Do ...

As long as we are at it, how about an exegesis on the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Reformed/Covenantal believer? What do the cessationist REALLY believe about this relationship? If the gifts of the Spirit are no longer in operation, how do we explain the fruits of the Spirit? Is it far-fetched to insist that the gifts AND the fruits are not inseperable? How is the fruit demonstrated without the gifts of the Spirit? Are Dispensationalists so wrong to exegete that the two are inseperable? Somehow, the idea that one half of the Holy Spirit's role is no longer applicable seems like selective amnesia to me.
